Meet The New Foursquare

Foursquare kind of fell off the radar for a little while, and I think that’s mostly because it became cluttered (there were a hundred little switches and menus and tabs) and because by letting you tag where you were and who you were with, Facebook edged them out of the “look what I’m doing!” game.

But it’s looking like they have a real shot at gaining some ground back with their mobile relaunch--there’s only three tabs. You can still get badges and follow your friends around the city, but it seems like it’s going to be  a lot easier to find and share cool new places and a lot less difficult to sift through the mess of people you don’t really know.
